Joanna Foster is a singer, actress  and composer who has worked extensively in theatre and television in Britain. She has worked regularly for the BBC and played leading roles at The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Royal National Theatre.

Joanna is currently focused on her singing career with the acapella group Anima, East European folk band Beskydy, and The Chalk Circle Collective – songs from Brecht’s The Caucasian Chalk Circle. The show, with a set of thrilling interpretations of Brecht and Weill songs, breathes new life into Brecht’s classic story of social unrest, loyalty and justice.
