ANIMA regularly perform their show, Visions of 7 - an informal concert with music, anecdotes and stories about 7 year cycles in life - in London and at venues throughout the UK.
Joanna looks at life and love in 7 year cycles and her fabulous vocal quartet ANIMA, bring the stories and rhythms of these cycles to life through song. Visions of 7 is about turning points in life which connect us and covers a wide musical terrain, from the exhilarating upbeat energy of jazz, through rhythmic soul numbers, to haunting Irish folk and the Flamenco of Lorca and the gypsies.
The song was inspired by French medieval music.
ANIMA includes the fabulous Barbara Gellhorn, left. and Cleo Bayley, second left, and occassionally, right, the amazing Eve Polycarpou, of Martha & Eve.
